Sasakura Engineering Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer from Osaka, primarily known for fresh water generators (vacuum evaporators). The SPC separator series was a side product installed on Japanese coastal vessels and smaller freighters in the 1980s–1990s. Production discontinued approximately 2005 — Sasakura has since focused on fresh water technology. Low quantities in circulation.
