Cargo Manifold Valve · Tanker Cargo Systems
Ball valves are commonly used aboard ships to control the flow of fluids in various systems, such as steam lines and other pressurized services. The INTEC K620/3 ball valve from Klinger is designed to meet stringent requirements for such applications. Featuring a fully welded body made from stainless steel (1.4408, 1.4571, or 1.4404), this valve is resistant to corrosion and suitable for high-pressure environments up to PN40. The valve includes a vent bore, which helps prevent aeration in the open position, thanks to a patented lever design. It also incorporates an antistatic device and a maintenance-free shaft sealing mechanism that uses a friction washer and cone ring. The valve is equipped with a pressure gauge connection and a collar cap with a cap nut, conforming to DIN 16284 standards. Certified according to VDI 2440 for clean air applications and DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, the INTEC K620/3 ensures reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and pressures, though a technical examination is recommended for steam services exceeding 150°C.
