The WinGD 5X82-DF (X82DF) is a low‑speed, five‑cylinder, dual‑fuel 2‑stroke main engine delivering up to 23 MW at ~79 rpm, capable of running on heavy fuel oil, VLSFO, MDO and low‑pressure LNG (with future methanol or ammonia ready variants). Its defining feature is the low‑pressure (~16 bar) gas admission system that eliminates a high‑pressure compressor while meeting IMO Tier III NOx limits without aftertreatment.
