It combines an oil-fired boiler section with an exhaust-gas heat-recovery section in one vertically arranged unit, allowing steam to be produced by combustion, recovered engine heat or a combination of both depending on the installation. The fired section uses the OC-TCi boiler's dedicated burner and heating surfaces, while the exhaust section recovers heat from diesel-engine exhaust gas.
