Wastegate diaphragm and valve function test - check for seizure, incorrect pressure settings, or failed actuation affecting boost control

Compressor and turbine housing seals examination - inspect for oil contamination, soot buildup, broken seals, or leakage signs

Maximum turbine speed and operating temperature validation - confirm operating within rated limits (typical max 150,000-180,000 rpm, max gas temp 950C)

Coolant flow verification and maintenance (for oil-cooled variants) - ensure adequate circulation at recommended temperature (typically 70C) and flow rates
