OSD Series
The OSD series was GEA Westfalia's predecessor model to the current OSC line. Based on the gravity disc principle (like Alfa Laval's MAPX), it was installed on European shipyards from the mid-1980s onwards. Solid technology, but without automatic phase detection. Still commonly in use on older vessels, particularly German and Dutch fleets. Spare parts increasingly obtained through third-party overhaul services.
