Hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power pack (HPP): check for fluid leaks, pressure levels, hose condition, and filter service intervals

Structural integrity of ramp sections: visual and NDT inspection of main girders, cross-beams, hinges, and weld seams for cracks or corrosion

Hydraulic clamp locking devices: verify engagement/disengagement function, wear on clamp pads, and locking sensor feedback

Wire ropes and sheaves: inspect for broken wires, kinks, corrosion, elongation, and correct lubrication; check sheave grooves for wear

EPDM sealing gasket (watertight seal): inspect for tears, permanent compression set, adhesion loss, and effectiveness of weathertight closure

Deck hinges and pintles: check for wear, grease nipple condition, bearing clearance, and corrosion protection

Local manoeuvre cabinet and control systems: verify indicator lights, limit switches, hydraulic valve solenoids, and emergency stop function

Ramp surface and non-slip deck plating: check for deformation, wear, corrosion, and integrity of anti-skid surface treatment
