Common failures & inspection points
Check duplex selector valve (switch-over valve) for smooth operation and absence of fuel leaks at all positions — isolate each chamber in turn
Inspect filter elements: record service hours since last change; replace per manufacturer interval (up to 1,000 hours or when pressure differential reaches limit)
Drain water accumulator bowl: open manual drain valve and verify water separates cleanly; inspect bowl for sludge, microbial growth, or emulsification

Verify that priming pump (if fitted) holds prime and delivers adequate fuel pressure during cold start or after element change
