Verify differential pressure across both filter housings and confirm alarm/switch setpoint is within manufacturer limits before and after changeover

Inspect and clean or replace filter elements/cartridges at prescribed intervals or upon high differential pressure indication

Check switchover mechanism (handwheel, gearbox, inlet/outlet valves) for smooth operation and absence of leaks during changeover procedure

Drain and inspect the standby housing sump for water, sludge, and sediment accumulation before returning it to service

Inspect all O-ring seals, gaskets, and closure hardware for wear, deformation, or leakage; replace per service schedule

Verify automatic changeover actuator (if fitted) functionality and calibration; test alarm output to control system

Check housing vent and drain valves for correct operation; confirm no air lock exists in standby housing prior to switchover

Inspect filter housing exterior for corrosion, coating damage, and structural integrity; verify mounting bolts and supports are tight and undamaged
