Check and clean or replace strainer insert (basket or ring-type strainer) at defined differential pressure or time intervals

Inspect and test the duplex changeover valve (two-way valve / ball valve) for smooth, leak-free switching between filter chambers

Verify differential pressure indicator readings and calibrate or replace sensor/indicator as required

Inspect filter housing, covers, and sealing surfaces for corrosion, erosion, or damage; replace O-rings and gaskets

Check optional magnetic insert for accumulated ferrous particles; clean or replace as needed

Inspect sacrificial anode (if fitted) and replace when consumption exceeds 50% to ensure cathodic protection of housing

For automatic self-cleaning filters: verify correct function of pneumatic or electric drive unit, flush valve, and backwash cycle initiation (differential pressure trigger and/or timer)

Flush filter housing and drain accumulated sludge/sediment from drain valve after each cleaning or at scheduled intervals
