Interlux Pre-Kote Plus — One-part primer and undercoat for above-waterline use with Interlux one-part finishes and deck paints. As a Topside Paint, it is normally installed on exposed topside, deck or superstructure surfaces above the waterline. In that role, its primary purpose is to protect the underlying substrate from marine atmosphere, corrosion and weathering while providing the required finished surface. Topside coating variants differ in chemistry, colour and application system, but all depend strongly on surface preparation, compatible primers and correct curing.
