This pressure/vacuum relief valve operates by utilizing a spring-loaded mechanism to maintain a set pressure range, ensuring safety and reliability in various industrial applications. The Fort Vale REL179 is an 82.5mm flanged Hyper Maxi Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valve designed to handle a set pressure range of 2 to 75 PSI and a vacuum range of 0.5 to 26 inches of mercury. It features a flange with four slots and a PCD of 145.0 to 152.4mm, suitable for mounting according to DIN standards. The valve is manufactured with 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and is standardly fitted with Fortyt seals. It is available in pressure-only and high-pressure extended body versions, with options for alternative seal materials. The REL179 is approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping for set pressures of 25 PSI and above. It includes a weight of 5.9 kg, a design pressure of 5.2 Bar, and a test pressure of 10.1 Bar.
