BIO-UV UV BWMS 400m3h ABS-approved — 20 kW, 400 m³/h capacity. As a UV-Based BWMS, it is normally installed in the ballast-water piping system between sea chests, ballast pumps and tanks, with filters, treatment reactors, dosing or neutralization equipment as applicable. In that role, its primary purpose is to treat ballast water during uptake or discharge so the vessel can meet the approved ballast-water management standard.
