Sondex S-8 Series
Sondex Sondex S-8 Series is a gasketed marine plate heat exchanger. It is normally installed in engine-room cooling, heating or heat-recovery piping according to the vessel system design. Its primary purpose is to transfer heat between two fluids through a pack of corrugated plates while keeping the fluids separated. Compared with shell-and-tube units, a gasketed plate exchanger is compact and can be opened for cleaning, inspection and gasket or plate replacement.
