SWEP B400 Series is a brazed plate heat exchanger. It is normally installed as a compact component within refrigeration, HVAC, freshwater, oil or auxiliary cooling and heating circuits. Its purpose is to transfer heat between two separated fluid circuits through a compact corrugated plate pack. Unlike an openable gasketed plate exchanger, the plate pack is permanently brazed and is generally serviced by external cleaning or replacement rather than plate-by-plate overhaul onboard.
