KEPCO KEG Series
The KEPCO KEPCO KEG Series is an exhaust gas boiler. It is normally installed in a diesel-engine exhaust path connected to the vessel's boiler-water and steam system. It is designed for steam generation by recovering energy from hot engine exhaust gas. In operation, exhaust gas transfers heat through boiler surfaces to water/steam without additional firing. The supplied entry gives no additional verified capacity, pressure, power or dimensional figure for this model. Compared with neighbouring models, the relevant differences are exhaust flow, heating surface, steam conditions, circulation and pressure rating; these must be confirmed from the installed documentation rather than inferred from the model designation alone. Service and survey attention should concentrate on soot, circulation, tube leakage, water treatment, soot-fire risk and expansion. For exact ratings, dimensions, tolerances, test limits and model-specific settings, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

Service & Maintenance
Inspect pressure parts or heater coils, heat-source/burner and refractory where applicable, gas-side cleanliness, circulation/feed systems and water or thermal-fluid condition. Verify level, pressure, temperature, flow, safety valves and shutdown/interlock functions applicable to the design. Review treatment, blowdown, soot-cleaning and operating records and use manufacturer/class procedures for pressure tests.
