MaxxSilence MSP-1000-40dB is a marine exhaust silencer. It is installed in the exhaust-gas piping between the engine or generator and the funnel outlet, with structural supports and expansion arrangements appropriate to the exhaust system. Its purpose is to reduce exhaust-noise transmission while allowing engine exhaust gas to pass with acceptable system resistance. The internal acoustic elements, casing, insulation, drainage and connection geometry are selected for the installed engine and exhaust arrangement.
