The MAN ME-GI Fuel Gas Supply System provides natural gas at the pressure and condition required by MAN ME-GI dual-fuel two-stroke engines, which inject gas at high pressure into the cylinder. It is built around reciprocating compressors that supply LNG-derived gas, with the associated cooling and control equipment, and is installed in a dedicated gas compressor or fuel preparation room. Its function is to deliver stable gas supply while the engine controls the gas and liquid fuel mix.

Class surveyors look at gas-tight integrity of the gas supply line and double-wall piping, ventilation and gas detection function, safety valves, emergency shutdown logic and compressor condition.
