The Hanshin 6LU26 is a six-cylinder in-line medium-speed four-stroke trunk-piston marine diesel engine of the LU series from Hanshin Diesel Works, with a bore class of 260 mm. It is installed in the engine room as a propulsion main engine, normally driving a fixed- or controllable-pitch propeller through a reduction gearbox, and the same engine type is also used as a generator drive.
