The 6AYL-WET is a vertical, water-cooled 4-stroke in-line 6-cylinder marine diesel engine (bore x stroke 155x180mm) certified to IMO Tier III, used in Yanmar generator sets rated 320-450kWe. At 1800 min-1 it delivers a continuous rated output of 491kW (668PS), supporting a generator capacity of 450(562.5)kWe(kVA). Dry engine weight is 2475kg and total generator set weight is 4750kg. Yanmar 6AYL is a 6-cylinder high-speed marine auxiliary (generator drive) diesel engine with 155x180mm bore and stroke, mean effective pressure of 1.15-1.72 MPa and piston speed of 9.0/10.8 m/s, compliant with IMO Tier III emission limits.
