The 6CHL-TN is a vertical, water-cooled 4-stroke in-line 6-cylinder marine diesel engine (bore x stroke 105x125mm) used in Yanmar generator sets. At 1800 min-1 it delivers a continuous rated output of 73.6kW (100PS), supporting a generator capacity of 64(80)kWe(kVA). Dry engine weight is 645kg and total generator set weight is 1350kg; TNA and HTNA variants are turbocharged/aftercooled with continuous load limited to 80% of rated power and 100% load restricted to within 2 hours per 12 hours.
