The 6AYM-WET offers two duty ratings from the same 6-cylinder, 155x180 mm, 20.379 L turbocharged block: M-rating 610 kW/829 mhp at 1900 rpm for intermittent-duty applications, and C-rating 555 kW/755 mhp at 1840 rpm for unlimited continuous operation. Heat-exchanger cooling is standard with keel cooling optional; the engine is offered with the YXH-240/YXH-240L hydraulic multi-disc clutch gearboxes.
