The 3YM27A is a 3-cylinder, 76x82 mm, 1.115 L water-cooled marine propulsion diesel engine built for SOLAS lifeboat use, rated 19.4 kW/26.4 PS continuous and 21.3 kW/29.0 PS maximum per ISO8665-1. It uses fresh water cooling with a sea water cooled heat exchanger and pairs with the KM2P-1 marine gearbox. The catalogue notes it does not comply with US EPA emission standards and cannot be used on American-flagged vessels.
