MAB-204-MDO-Purifier

The Alfa Laval S.p.A. MAB-204-MDO-Purifier is a solids-retaining disc-stack separator configured for purification of marine diesel oil or comparable distillate fuel. It is generally installed in the engine-room fuel-cleaning system upstream of service tanks, booster equipment or engine fuel-system components. The rotating disc-stack bowl separates denser water and suspended solids from the lighter fuel phase. The duty is typically less viscosity-sensitive than heavy-fuel-oil separation, but stable feed conditions and the correct separator setup remain essential. The MAB family is designed for manual removal of accumulated sludge and can be arranged for clarification or purification.
