EHC 100/4000 Boom Hoist Crane

Wire rope inspection: check for broken wires, kinking, corrosion, wear, and correct spooling on the drum; replace per manufacturer intervals or applicable standard (e.g. ISO 4309)

Slew ring / slew bearing: inspect for backlash, crack indications, fastener torque, lubrication condition, and corrosion on the gear ring teeth

Hydraulic system: check oil level and condition (contamination, water ingress), inspect hoses, cylinders and fittings for leaks, verify relief valve set-points and filter differential pressure

Structural integrity: visual inspection of boom (lattice or box type), pedestal, and welded connections for cracks, corrosion, deformation, and paint condition; non-destructive testing at prescribed intervals

Load-limiting and safety devices: function-test SWL limiter, anti-two-block device, load indicator, radius/moment limiter, and emergency stop; verify calibration certificates are current

Sheave blocks and hook assembly: inspect sheaves for wear, cracks and correct groove profile; check hook for deformation, crack testing, and latch function; verify swivel operation

Electrical and control systems: inspect control cabinets, junction boxes, cable connections and festoon for moisture ingress, insulation resistance, and correct operation of limit switches and interlocks

Lubrication: verify all grease points (boom pivot pins, sheave bearings, winch bearings, slew ring) are serviced per lubrication schedule; check gearbox oil levels in hoist and slew drives
