Visual inspection of lattice/box boom for signs of cracking, corrosion, bent members, or deformation. NDT (non-destructive testing) via ultrasonic or dye-penetrant testing of critical weld zones and high-stress areas. Annual thorough examination per DNV/ABS rules.

Measure wire rope diameter reduction, inspect for broken strands, kinking, corrosion, and bird-caging. Replace when wear limits exceeded per DNV ST-0377. Load test every 5 years as per ABS/DNV certification requirements.

Check all hydraulic hose assemblies for leaks, document fluid condition (particulate count, viscosity, water content). Inspect hydraulic cylinders (especially luffing cylinders on RL models) for rod seal condition and drift under load. Verify pump pressure output.

Calibrate electronic load cells and verify readout accuracy per DNV ST-0377. Confirm redundant load monitoring systems function independently. Perform static and dynamic load tests to verify SWL accuracy (e.g., 100T, 300T, 60T capacity verification).

Inspect three-row roller bearing (2200mm, 3000mm, 4000mm, 5500mm diameter variants) for adequate grease lubrication, bearing cage wear, and any unusual noise/vibration during rotation. Verify bearing torque/resistance within operational limits. Annual thorough examination required.
