The D181 1IR+UV flame detector employs a multi-spectrum design that combines Ultraviolet and Infrared radiation detection to identify both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires while minimizing false alarms. This advanced optical flame detector is manufactured by Hochiki and is equipped with a robust 180-260 nanometers UV and 4.3-4.6 microns IR spectral sensitivity. It features an automatic self-test function to ensure continuous integrity of the optical path and electronic monitoring, enhancing reliability and fault reporting. The detector supports Alarm, Auxiliary, Fault relays, 0-20 mA analog, and RS485 outputs, storing up to 200 events and six FireGraphs in its FRMA memory. It is housed in a NEMA 4 (IP66/67) aluminum enclosure, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as airports, manufacturing facilities, and power plants.
