Common issues

• Gear and bushing wear increasing internal slip, reducing delivered flow and pressure

Inspection checklist

• Check discharge flow and pressure against the rated nameplate values

• Inspect coupling/motor alignment and guard condition
• Check the suction strainer for fouling or damage
• Listen for abnormal gear or bearing noise during running
