Common failures & inspection points
Monitor compressor oil temperature via temperature sensor gauge. Alarm should activate at 105°C with automatic shutdown at 115°C. Check oil cooler function and verify adequate cooling water flow (for water-cooled models) or air circulation (for air-cooled models).
Inspect oil filter visual condition and pressure drop indicator. Replace oil filter when receiver is empty following compressor shutdown. Check for oil color/clarity indicating age or contamination.
