SWL Cranes SWL OC-8t is a offshore crane (Deck Cranes / Offshore Crane). It is normally installed on deck at the cargo, stores or offshore handling station served by the crane. It is intended to lift and position loads within the crane's approved operating envelope. In service it interfaces with the pedestal and structure, slew and luffing mechanisms, hoist winch, wire rope, hook, hydraulic or electric drive, controls and safety devices.
What our service work and the manufacturer documentation say about keeping this model running.
Inspect structure, pedestal, welds, pins, sheaves, hook, wire rope, brakes, hydraulic hoses and leakage, and condition of electrical controls. Function-test emergency stop, limits, alarms and protective devices under the vessel's approved procedure. Review certification and load-test records; exact discard criteria, pressure settings and allowable wear must follow manufacturer, class and statutory documentation.
Carry hydraulic seals and hose assemblies where appropriate, filters, control solenoids, limit switches, brake service parts, wire-rope accessories and lubrication products specified for the installed crane.
