The plate heat exchanger in section
The gasketed plate apparatus that serves on board as central cooler, lube oil cooler and jacket water cooler — with the plate pack cut open lengthwise. Pick an area, pull the areas apart, and click any component: plate pack, gaskets, tightening dimension, counterflow.
The breakdown comes from our own component register. Each component names the register group it belongs to. The model is built to scale (1.55 m plate height, 34 plates — a mid-size central cooler), but it is not a likeness of any particular make.
