BIO-UV UV BWMS 100m3h BV-approved — 5 kW, 100 m³/h capacity. As a UV-Based BWMS, it is normally installed in the ballast-water piping system between sea chests, ballast pumps and tanks, with filters, treatment reactors, dosing or neutralization equipment as applicable. In that role, its primary purpose is to treat ballast water during uptake or discharge so the vessel can meet the approved ballast-water management standard. UV, electrochlorination, electrolysis and filter-plus-UV systems differ in treatment mechanism, but all depend on correct flow, sensor condition and functioning bypass or interlock logic. For exact ratings, dimensions, settings, capacities, materials and variant-specific limits, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

Free of charge — we forward your request to qualified suppliers for BIO-UV equipment from our network of over 114,000 maritime companies.

Makers and authorised dealers rarely quote marine equipment without the vessel. With these details we usually come back with prices; without them we have to ask first, which costs a few days. If you cannot share the vessel, a photo of the equipment’s rating plate does the same job — send it as a reply to our confirmation e-mail.
