Common failures & inspection points

Stecker/Kupplung Sichtkontrolle: Korrosion, Oxidation, Verfärbung

Visual inspection for green patina (copper), black oxides (silver), greyish-brown discoloration, salt deposits; check surface roughness, scratches, deformation at contacts. Treat light oxidation with contact cleaning spray; for stubborn corrosion, gently scrub with nylon brush, never use steel brushes.

Insulation resistance (Megger test) of cables and connectors
