The MeccAlte ECO28 75 kVA 440 V 60 Hz marine generator is a compact, four‑pole alternator designed to provide auxiliary power for small to medium vessels operating on a 60 Hz system. As an Alternator, it is normally installed in the engine room or generator space, mechanically coupled to a diesel engine, turbine, shaft drive or other prime mover. In that role, its primary purpose is to convert mechanical power into three-phase electrical power for the shipboard distribution system.
