GEA GBS 1000 Series
GEA GEA GBS 1000 Series is a marine shell-and-tube heat exchanger. It is normally installed in an engine-room cooling, heating, condenser or process system. Its primary purpose is to transfer heat between fluids separated by a bundle of tubes within a pressure shell. Compared with plate exchangers, shell-and-tube construction is bulkier but provides robust tube-side and shell-side arrangements that can often be mechanically cleaned or locally plugged. The supplied record already contains the available concise model or rating information, so those existing figures are not duplicated here and no additional meaning is inferred from the model code. For exact ratings, dimensions, settings, capacities, materials and variant-specific limits, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

Service & Maintenance
Inspect end covers, tube sheets, tubes, shell, gaskets and supports. Trend temperature and pressure differences and clean tube passages using an approved method. Investigate any cross-contamination between circuits. Exact tube-plugging limits and pressure-test values require manufacturer documentation.
