The Furuno FCV-1150 is a colour video sounder with a dual-frequency transducer set, used to show the seabed, bottom hardness and fish echoes on a colour display. It is fitted at the wheelhouse of fishing vessels and workboats, with the transducer mounted through the hull below the waterline. Operators read depth, bottom contour and school echoes from the picture and adjust gain, range and frequency to the water conditions.
