Mark 5 16ch
Graviner Mark 5 16ch is a crankcase oil-mist detection system. It is normally installed on a large diesel engine with sampling or detector points connected to crankcase compartments and an alarm/control unit. Its primary purpose is to warn of abnormal oil-mist formation that can precede a crankcase hot spot or explosion. Unlike ordinary temperature monitoring, oil-mist detection responds to aerosol concentration within the crankcase and is therefore sensitive to sampling cleanliness and optical condition.
