Electrochlorination BWMS · Ballast Water Treatment Systems
It is normally installed in ballast pump rooms, engine-room treatment spaces or dedicated BWTS compartments connected to ballast piping. Its primary duty is to treat ballast water before discharge using filtration and UV, electrolysis or electrochlorination so organisms are controlled in accordance with the approved system. In service it interfaces with ballast pumps and piping, filters, UV reactors or electrolytic cells, TRO/quality sensors, dosing/neutralization and automation.
