DESMI DK-125
The DESMI DESMI DK-125 is a centrifugal pump. It is normally installed in the engine room, pump room or auxiliary machinery space close to the system it serves. It is designed for continuous transfer or circulation of relatively low-viscosity liquids. In operation, a rotating impeller adds velocity and the casing converts it into pressure. The supplied entry states a power rating of 18.5 kW and the service medium as seawater/freshwater; these data are retained unchanged. Compared with neighbouring models, the relevant differences are flow, head, motor, materials, port size and impeller configuration; these must be confirmed from the installed documentation rather than inferred from the model designation alone. Service and survey attention should concentrate on suction/discharge condition, cavitation, seals, bearings, alignment and motor load. For exact ratings, dimensions, tolerances, test limits and model-specific settings, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

Service & Maintenance
Trend suction/discharge pressure, flow where available, motor current, vibration, bearing temperature and leakage. Inspect strainers, valves, seals, bearings, coupling, foundation and rotation and verify standby/changeover arrangements for critical services. Apply pump-type-specific manufacturer limits during overhaul.
