Brennstoff: Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO). Status: Legacy. M453C developed late 1980s. Replaced by more modern M32/M43 series in 1990s–2000s. Vessels still operating worldwide; spare parts available from marine suppliers.
