MaK M453/M453C (Legacy, 1980s–1990s) — Viertakt-Marinediesel, Bohrung 320 x Hub 420 mm, 600 rpm, 1800–3300 kW (300–330 kW per cylinder nominal). Brennstoff: Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO). Status: Legacy. M453C developed late 1980s. Replaced by more modern M32/M43 series in 1990s–2000s. Vessels still operating worldwide; spare parts available from marine suppliers.
