AutroSafe Fire Detection
Autronica (Trondheim, Norway, part of Carrier/UTC) is the second largest marine fire detector manufacturer. The AutroSafe system offers conventional point detectors and VESDA aspirating detectors (Xtralis technology). Aspirating detectors draw air through a pipe system and analyze it centrally — particularly sensitive for smoldering fires and early detection in engine rooms and cargo holds.
