SharpEye Radar
Kelvin Hughes (London, since 2017 part of Hensoldt, Germany) introduced with the SharpEye the first IMO-approved Solid-State radar for SOLAS vessels. Doppler technology enables discrimination between stationary and moving targets. Particularly widespread on naval vessels, coast guard and as an upgrade on older merchant ships.
