Anchor Windlass Type AV/AH
Hatlapa (Uetersen near Hamburg, taken over by MAN Energy Solutions in 2018) is one of the most traditional German deck machinery manufacturers, founded in 1919. The AV/AH anchor winch series is widely distributed on German, Korean and Chinese newbuilds. AV = vertical, AH = horizontal configuration. Hatlapa often supplies anchor winch + mooring winch + starting air compressor as a deck machinery package.
