YV/RV Series

REI (Refrigeration Engineering International) was a US refrigeration compressor manufacturer from Tacoma, Washington, specializing in marine ammonia refrigeration systems. The YV/RV series was widely used on US fishing vessels (Alaska fleet) and Coast Guard ships. Production discontinued around 2005. Still in use on older US fishing vessels, but spare parts available almost exclusively through the used parts market.
