Turbocor TT/TG Series
Danfoss Turbocor (Tallahassee, FL, USA, acquired 2017 by Danfoss, Denmark) is pioneer of the oil-free turbo refrigeration compressor with magnetic bearing technology. The TT/TG series is used on cruise ships and large ferries for the central AC system, where oil-free technology, low vibration and variable speed are particularly valued. Highest energy efficiency of all compressor technologies, but also highest acquisition costs.
