Bitzer is a German refrigeration compressor manufacturer from Sindelfingen, founded 1934, and one of the world's largest independent manufacturers. The Ecoline series is the current standard product line for semi-hermetic piston compressors used on ships in provisions cooling systems, AC systems and cargo cooling (reefer). DNV/GL, LR, BV marine-certified. Bitzer together with Copeland/Emerson is the market leader in the marine refrigeration compressor segment.
