Hatlapa ist ein traditionsreicher deutscher Deck- und Maschinenhersteller aus Uetersen bei Hamburg, gegründet 1919. Die L-Serie ist Hatlapas Standard-Startluft-Kompressor, der seit den 1970er Jahren in verschiedenen Varianten gebaut wird. 2018 wurde Hatlapa von MAN Energy Solutions übernommen. Die L-Serie ist besonders auf Schiffen deutscher und chinesischer Werften verbreitet (Blohm+Voss, Meyer, Shanghai Waigaoqiao). Solide, bewährte Technik ohne besondere Innovationsmerkmale.
