L Series

Hatlapa is a traditional German deck and machinery manufacturer from Uetersen near Hamburg, founded 1919. The L series is Hatlapa's standard start air compressor, built in various versions since the 1970s. In 2018, Hatlapa was acquired by MAN Energy Solutions. The L series is particularly widespread on vessels from German and Chinese shipyards (Blohm+Voss, Meyer, Shanghai Waigaoqiao). Solid, proven technology without special innovative features.
