HL2 Series

The HL2 series is Sperre's high-capacity series for large ocean-going vessels with 2-stroke main engines requiring high start air volumes. Crosshead design for longer service life at higher pressures and volume flows. Frequently installed on VLCCs, Capesize bulkers and large container vessels. Two HL2 compressors plus one HV2 as emergency compressor is a typical configuration.
