The Mitsubishi SJ-20F LO is a compact disc‑stack lube oil purifier designed to continuously remove water, sludge and solid particles from shipboard lubricating oil systems. As a Lube Oil Purifier, it is normally installed in the engine-room bilge or liquid-treatment area with pumps, sludge handling, monitoring and approved discharge or recirculation piping. In that role, its primary purpose is to separate oil, water or solids from a process stream before reuse, storage or permitted discharge. Centrifugal purifiers and oily-water separators use different separation principles, so bowl, coalescer, monitor and discharge arrangements must be identified from the installed system.
